I think our classmates are getting fewer and fewer and wow that really scares me. Babur....sorry to hear you are moving on but I know that you will do good whereever you go. GOOD JOB JESSICA. That testing stinks so congratulations on passing it. Are you going to make Platinum? I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Las Vegas was fun......we went with some friends and actually there was only one Farmers agent there......ME. hahahahaha....but that's okay it didn't slow me down and we were going anyway. It would have really been nice though to see some of you but hey....maybe we can try it again in the future.

Things have been slower here so just trying to stay afloat. I see more and more names appearing on the life list with "*" behind them which means they aren't with Farmers anymore...or so I think that's what it means. Diana is not a career agent any longer and last I heard was trying to negotiate a deal with maybe going in as an AP with another agent in her hometown.

I'm going to send out a mass email again just to check in on folks so watch for that.

How's everyone doing? I hope everyone is doing great or at least hanging in there. It's been tough trying to make my numbers, but I finally did it. I also just passed my Series 6 License today, so I'm pretty excited about that. I have received several awards from my district so far, so it's getting a little better for me, but still struggling.

Babur, sorry to hear that you are leaving Farmers, but glad you are happy with what you are doing now. Good luck to you in your endeavors!!! As for the rest of us hanging in there, I hope that good changes come our way this year and that it will get better for us!!

Hey All

How was Vegas Vicky????? Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be done with Farmers next month but I am happy about it. I have already been very busy doing sales with the owner of a great Day Spa and we are starting a business alliance with all small fitness, yoga, pilates, poleates, rock climbing studios plus nice restaurants, golf courses, tennis clubs, basically anything that correlates with spa treatments and I will be in charge of all these accounts that will join up with us to provide their clients as well as ours the best balance and service in town. While I am going on these appointments (which are getting great positive responses) I am also doing sales for my fathers company, which is direct mail so doing 2 things at once and taking my Health Insurance Exam tomorrow so wish me luck. The past 3 weeks have been very productive, positive, and stress free for me and I am digging it. I hope everyone else is doing well and makes it through or finds something that is a better fit. I am enjoying this job because I get to use my people skills and the Spa and my dads business does the work, so its a good deal. BACK TO BUSINESS!!!!

Okay all you turkey lovers the Thanksgiving holiday is over and it's time to get back to work and get those numbers. With Christmas fast approaching and winter upon us I find it is getting slower here in North Dakota.

So, to compensate, I'm having my telemarketer pick up extra hours. I can definitely tell that with fewer appointments come fewer policies. Three to four appointments for the week just isn't cutting it.

Let me know if I can help anyone now that things are slower here in BRRRRRRRR country.

Nice to hear from you Mr. VP. Thanks for the kind words....I found out yesterday that I did make Toppers so am thinking I will take the CA trip in June....maybe we can have a few totties then.

Just wanted to give you all a bit of info I learned yesterday at our District Meeting. Farmers has business life insurance for groups as small as 2. We write it through Kemper which is owned by Zurich and is our sister company. Anyway....what a GREAT way to get your foot in the door. I'm going around to local small businesses I know and asking them if they'd like to give their employees a benefit and approaching them with a business life quote. It's actually very inexpensive and there is NO UNDERWRITING. All they need to quote it is to know the employees DOB and male or female. And for every group policy of 5 that you write you get 1 I&P credit with Farmers. So if you write a small dentist office with 5 employees Farmers will mark you down as 1 I & P. So get one large business with 25 employees and that can be 5 I$P. What a great way to not only get your life but to open up your market. I'm betting that a lot of those employees are excited about another "benefit" from their job and would consider letting you quote their autos and home also.

Anyway...Babur sorry to hear about your girlie problems. hahahaha....really I'm not. Now I'm really really really nervous cuz when I take my 21 year old to Vegas in January her 21 year old model friend from LA is meeting us there for the weekend. But I'm sure she won't be your type. She's way tooooo tall at 5'10" and way too thin at 115 lbs. Cute as a button. So needless to say now I have to take care of two 21 year olds down there instead of just one. I'm thinking you'd probably help wouldn't you? Eeeeeeeeeek....right. hahahahaha

Hi peoples

Hope everyone is doing well or at least not awful. I have till Feb to meet numbers or I will lose my contract but to be honest I haven't really tried so now I am going to try and do some damage by different marketing strageties and getting out there and being more aggressive, I am going to attack the renters market too as it is easy to sell and adds up very quickly and nicely; I am also pursuing my health license as I was an idiot and took life ONLY! We are still having fires over here in Cali, luckily me and my clients are ok as well as my friends and family. You guys must be freezing on the east coast. Hope everyone is in thanksgiving mode and have a great thanksgiving. I am also having girl drama with the ex gf on the side!!!! So that doesn't help stay focus does ittttt. Nothing else much new over here, take care everyone and congrats to Vicky for go beyond her numbers and hitting platinum and toppers (if not now, she will hit toppers!), you deserve it Vick.

HOW IS OUR CLASS DOING YOU ASK?

As you all know I sent out a mass email to everyone this morning to see how we are all doing. I will keep you posted as I get responses. Danny Wittwer from Utah will be moving on. He said he had some unforseen things happen and is checking out some other companies. He may be staying with Farmers in a different capacity but not as an agent.
